Understanding Navigation and Utilities

Let's begin by looking at the navigation features and utilities provided. In addition to being designed for easy accessibility, every module has the same "look and feel" and uses the same navigation elements and utilities. One important element of this "look and feel" and the navigation is the page type. Each module consists of three types of pages: Primary, Additional Information, and Check Your Knowledge.

The next few pages address page types and provide descriptions and instructions for the following:

  • Choosing a Module.
  • Using Primary Page Navigation Features.
  • Understanding a Primary Module Page.
  • Understanding an Additional Information Page.
  • Choosing a Topic.
  • Using the Utilities.
  • Responding to a Check Your Knowledge Question.
  • Using the Keyboard for Navigation.
