Built-in Capabilities

Microsoft Windows© has built-in accessibility capabilities available to all users, if installed. For example, the Standard interface objects in the Windows environment are already accessibility-enabled.

Software should be designed so that it does not override built-in behavior. To learn more about the instances when software should provide explicit accessibility support, select these links:
