Providing the user with this type of control allows the developer to incorporate flashing screen items without running the risk of producing adverse physical affects. These programming techniques involve providing the user with the ability to:

  • Customize all time-out features.
  • Adjust the flash speed.
  • Completely disable the flash itself.
