Market Research is required before establishing need for Sole Source or Brand Name procurement.

You can search for accessibility information about their intended purchase using the Vendor Accessibility Research Center (VARC). VARC is an alphabetic list of company websites with links to their product or service accessibility information.
Copy and save your research for due diligence.

You can also request information from the vendor by supplying them with a Government Product Accessibility Template (GPAT) by going through Quick Links. The GPAT identifies applicable Section 508 provisions for a number of standard ICT deliverables.
You can request the vendor to indicate how their product/service deliverable addresses the applicable Section 508 requirements. When the vendor fills in a GPAT, it becomes part of your market research for documentation purposes.
