Thursday, June 15: Section 508 Event: The US Access Board will provide the opportunity to come and bring your comments, questions, and concerns to discuss with the Access Board. The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) will present an overview of their organization. A Section 508 Legal Update including accessibility lawsuits and remediation will be presented. National Network of ADA Centers:Old versus New: Original Section 508 Standards (2000) compared to the Revised Section 508 Standards (2017) WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The intended audience for this training includes 508 Coordinators, document authors, developers, and other content creators. Areas to be addressed include software, covered content, and documentation.

Tuesday, April 4: Section 508 Event: The US Access Board will be presenting a session on the refreshed Section 508 rule. The GSA Office of Governmentwide Policy Section 508 team will present a session on the initiatives that are being developed to assist Federal agencies with the transition to the refreshed rule.
