Introducing the New and Improved Solicitation Review Tool

We’re excited to announce the new and improved Solicitation Review Tool (SRT), which checks federal solicitations for required Section 508 accessibility language. Designed to support federal acquisition professionals, Section 508 Program Managers, accessibility specialists, and other stakeholders, SRT makes it faster and easier to add the relevant Section 508 requirements for the information and communication technology (ICT) solution being procured.

SRT makes it easier than ever to evaluate both draft and published federal solicitations.

For draft solicitations, SRT generates solicitation-ready Section 508 language tailored to the ICT being procured, making it faster to include the required accessibility language before publication.
For published solicitations, SRT analyzes the document and generates a detailed report identifying whether the required Section 508 solicitation language is present, helping users quickly spot missing or incomplete accessibility requirements.

By supporting both the creation and review of solicitations, SRT helps agencies improve the consistency and quality of Section 508 requirements throughout the acquisition process, making it easier to develop more accessible ICT procurements.

Review Solicitations with Confidence

With expanded AI capabilities, SRT simplifies the process of identifying the appropriate Section 508 requirements based on the ICT being acquired. SRT is available for use by federal government employees and contractors with a .gov or .mil email address. Email srt@gsa.gov with your request for access.
