Module 9: Language of Parts

Voice Over (VO): Welcome to the Andy Language of Parts module. The purpose of this module is to ensure that all written content in multiple human languages is programmatically identified correctly. To start, open a web page and launch Andy.

VO: Next, choose the select module drop-down menu and navigate to the structures module. To evaluate language of parts, select the more details drop-down menu, then select the language attributes button to add markup to the page. Tab to the markup to reveal the language attribute highlighted with a solid green outline. Verify the language attribute is accurate for the content within the green outline. The language of parts passes when all written content in multiple human languages is programmatically identified correctly. The language of parts fails when all written content in multiple human languages is not programmatically identified correctly. The test does not apply if only one human language is found on the page or if the content is gibberish, is a proper name, technical term, or is commonly understood.
